Meet the Artist
Hi my name is Maribel, and I am a self-taught jewelry designer. I have been making jewelry since 2009. It all started as a hobby when I made the decision to spend less time in the office and more time enjoying life. Being a single mom I have focused my life to working and providing for the ones I love that a part of me got left behind...my passion for Arts & Crafts. With the support of my son and family, I have been able to find the artistic side of me again.
Beading Owl is an Online shop dedicated to selling handcrafted beaded jewelry. The name “Beading Owl
” came to be as most of my beading is done at night (like an Owl). It was my way to unwind after a stressful day.
My design style is geared to your "everyday wear". I try to design pieces to accessories any office attire, pieces a bit more casual for when spending time with family and friend, seasonal pieces and pieces to dress up that little black dress.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to learn a little about me. We hope you enjoy wearing our handcrafted jewelry.

My Bead Collection
In 2011, I created and built my first storage unit...it was built out of craft balsa wood I purchase at my local craft store. Little did I know how my collection of beads would grow. This year I took it a step further and built a new bigger and stronger unit. I designed it on paper with exact measurement; as I needed it to fit on top of my craft table. Then I purchased Oak wood at my local lumber storekeeper me about 2-3 hours to build once I had all the wood at homeland I still want to add a few extra touches but I am extremely happy with the way it came out. New unit can hold 300+ small jars, 384+ large jars, and I can place the extra large jar on top.
Bead jar can be purchased at any craft store or Online As I purchase quite a lot...got them Online at Shipwreck Beads. They come in an assortment of size. Each jar is numbered and all the details are recorded in my Bead Manager Pro Software. Hope this inspires others...being visual and seeing the multitude of color gets the creative juices flowing.
